When I was foolish and starving

He said, “eat my body, it is for you.”

When I was ignorant and thirsty

He said, “drink my blood, it is for you.”

When I was wayward and confused

He said, “take my Spirit, it is for you.”

When I was dishonorable and exposed

He said, “Come and have breakfast with me.”
